Financial Service Representative
Job Description
Overview:
- Languages: English
- Education: Bachelor\\\’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities:
- Approve or reject applications, or recommend decisions to management.
- Assist clients in addressing financial goals, such as business growth, debt management, investment, and more.
- Complete necessary documentation for credit and loan applications.
- Forward unresolved accounts to collection.
- Interview loan applicants.
- Open new personal and non-personal accounts and provide access to ATM, telephone banking, and online banking services.
- Prepare statements for delinquent accounts.
- Promote credit and loan services.
- Research and evaluate applicants\\\’ financial status, creditworthiness, and repayment ability.
- Review and update credit and loan files.
- Submit loan and credit applications to management for approval.
- Network to develop business relationships and attract corporate and individual customers.
- Identify and approach potential clients.
Credentials:
- Certified Credit Professional (CCP) Designation
- Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) Accreditation
